🔧 Fixture & Valve Leaks
Leaking under the sink? Around the toilet? At your shut-off valves or supply lines? We replace worn parts and faulty fittings with quality materials that last.

📷 Insurance Documentation & Photos
If you need a report or photo documentation for your insurance provider, we’ve got you covered — and we’ll walk you through the process.

❓ Plumbing Leak FAQs – Calgary

💬 What should I do if I have a leak?

If water is actively leaking, shut off your main water valve. If you’re not sure where it is, call us — we’ll guide you over the phone.

💬 How do you find hidden leaks?

We use visual inspection, moisture meters, pressure tests, and our experience to pinpoint the source. We don’t just start cutting — we diagnose with care and skill. For Pesky smells we perform smoke tests to see where plumbing drains are open.

💬 Do you fix drywall and paint after the leak repair?

Yes — for most leaks that require access, we patch drywall, retexture ceilings, and match paint so your home looks like nothing ever happened. Bigger restorations? We can coordinate with trusted pros or your insurance company.

💬 Do you repair all types of pipes?

Yes — we repair copper, PEX, Poly B, CPVC, and galvanized pipes. If we find faulty material (like Poly B), we’ll also give you options for long-term upgrades.

💬 Do you offer emergency leak repair?

Yes — if your home is flooding or you’ve had a pipe burst, we prioritize your call and offer fast-response service.

💬 Do you warranty your leak repairs?

Yes — all our repairs are backed by our Sterling Standard warranty.
📌 Note: We do not warranty repairs made on customer-supplied parts or fittings.

💬 Could it be attic rain instead of a plumbing leak?

Yes — and it’s more common than you’d think in Calgary homes, especially during freeze-thaw cycles.

Attic rain happens when warm, moist indoor air rises into the attic and freezes on the underside of the roof. When it warms up, that frost melts and drips down — often showing up as water stains on ceilings, even though there’s no plumbing above.

How to tell it might be attic rain:

  • The leak appears after a cold snap followed by a warm day

  • The water shows up under the roofline, not near plumbing fixtures

  • There’s no plumbing pipe nearby

  • You don’t hear running water

We’re happy to inspect and rule out plumbing issues — and if it’s attic rain, we’ll explain what’s happening and point you in the right direction.

Leaks never fix themselves. Let’s handle it properly — now.
